Jack's story began in heartbreaking circumstances. He was rescued from a severe hoarding situation-one of over 50 dogs crammed onto a filthy property, 5 other dogs in one small pen, with nothing but dirt to sleep on and algae in his water bucket. But despite the neglect, Jack has proven just how resilient, loving, and gentle a dog can be.
Now safe and back from foster care, Jack has completely blossomed-and his foster carer can't sing his praises enough:
"Fostering Jack was an absolute dream - he's such a good dog. There was never a moment of aggression. He let me wash him, clip his nails, and handle him all over with no issues. He's a total cuddle bug-loves being close, sitting on your lap, or snuggling on the couch. He's confident, friendly with strangers, and was gentle and happy meeting another dog. Honestly, he's just such an easy, loving boy."
Jack is now fully toilet trained, has picked up lead walking beautifully, and is perfectly content to nap quietly while you're out or working from home. While he's low-energy most of the time, he lights up for his daily walk and would thrive in a home that enjoys a bit of outdoor time.
Jack would love a home where he can continue to be cherished-and he's open to sharing that home, too! He could live with another friendly dog and would do well with dog-savvy kids who understand the importance of gentle handling and respect his calm nature.
If you're after a sweet, affectionate companion with a heart full of love and a story that'll make you want to hug him forever, Jack is your boy.
Come meet Jack and let him melt your heart.
