Meet Huxley

When Huxley first arrived at the shelter, the world felt like a big, scary place. He was shy, unsure on the lead, and it was clear he hadn't had much experience with the outside world. But with time, patience, and the support of our behaviour team, this sweet boy has truly come out of his shell.

Huxley has blossomed into a fun companion! Through our behaviour program, he's gained confidence and learned to trust people, especially those who come bearing couch cuddles and belly rubs. He's got a soft, affectionate nature and would happily spend his days snoozing by your side, soaking up all the love he can get.

He's a clever boy who enjoys learning and already has a few tricks up his sleeve to impress his new family.

Huxley would thrive in an adults only home that's quiet and calm, where his people can continue to show him the world in a gentle, positive way. He also enjoys the company of other friendly dogs, so a canine companion could be a great fit for him.

If you're looking for a loyal, loving friend who just needs time, care, and a little extra understanding, Huxley is ready to meet you.
