Ryder is a sweet and bouncy 4 year old boy, he hasn't had the best start in life but is ready to find a new home and where he can learn to love again.
He is best suited to an quiet, adults only home, or with older children who are dog confident but willing to give him space which he will need.
It takes some time for this special lad to learn that you mean no harm, but once you earn his trust he will be your devoted sidekick for life. As he can be a little nervous around strangers, introductions will need to be slow with lots of treats at hand.
Ryder is still learning what we call 'impulse control' as he can get mouthy when hes over excited.
He still has lots of skills to learn and further confidence building so he would need a relatively expierienced home.
He's still building his social skills around other canine's, so he will have to be the only dog in the household.
At this stage dog parks and doggy dates are a no go. But with some positive training he might be able to have a doggie friend in the future!
Ryder is also learning that the world isn't so scary when he's alone. He would love for his new home to practice independence training so he can be the most confident boy when you're not at home.
If he sounds like he could be your boy, please pop in an application.
