Dogs in the Park - Truganina

Dogs in the Park is coming to Truganina, in partnership between Wyndham City Council and The Lost Dogs' Home!

Wyndham City Council residents are invited to join a FREE group training session with their dog at Freshbrook Avenue Park. The interactive one-hour session is run by experienced trainers from The Lost Dogs’ Home, specialising in dog behaviour and is designed to help you and your dog build a stronger bond while learning essential training techniques.

Throughout the session, you will learn valuable skills such as clicker training, attention cues, hand targeting, luring, recall, and loose lead walking. We will also cover practical topics like how to teach new skills effectively and introduce fun exercises to keep your dog engaged and motivated.

This is a FREE community event for residents of Wyndham City Council only, but bookings are ESSENTIAL. Please select ONE attendee/ticket per dog (not per person). Session sizes are limited to ensure a comfortable training environment.

With several dogs and people expected to attend, please consider if this is the right environment for your dog. If you think it may be too stressful for them, you’re very welcome to attend yourself and leave your dog at home where they feel comfortable.
