Footless in Footscray: Perseverant Peggy kicks on.

May 17, 2019

Stray cat Peggy arrived at our shelter with a missing foot. The gorgeous one-year-old Tortoiseshell was found in Footscray. Peggy has now been nursed back to health by our loving staff at The Lost Dogs’ Home.

Peggy is now looking for a forever family and, importantly, a quiet indoor home to reduce the risk of any further injury.

“Peggy takes a little while to warm up to you, but once she gets brave enough to approach, you will have a friend for life,” says Gemma O’Connor, a cattery attendant at The Lost Dogs’ Home.

Peggy promises to spoil her family with love, as long as she receives the same in return. She is a real smoocher.

“She’s so sweet and precious, she leans and rubs all over you and demands more and more snuggles if you try to stop!” laughs Gemma.

If you’re ready for a new pet, meet Peggy (ID 1060684) at our North Melbourne shelter or view her adoption profile.
