The Lost Dogs’ Home Ambulance to Offer Bushfire Assistance This Friday

The Lost Dogs’ Home is supplying an animal ambulance and a driver to help with the evacuation of cats and dogs tomorrow morning (Friday 27th February) in the Yarra Valley/Warburton area. The ambulance will be available at the Lilydale Showgrounds from 9:00am to assist residents evacuate their pets to safety.

It is important that all pets are identified with collar identification. Owners should supply a secondary emergency contact to the pet register storing their pet’s microchip and ID tag records in case their homes are lost.

Should residents wish to have their animals temporarily housed, The Lost Dogs’ Home is offering free boarding at its Cranbourne and North Melbourne shelters.
