Every gift no matter how small or large is a special contribution to the continuation of our work and commitment to our most vulnerable animals.
Frank Samways Veterinary Clinic
Frank Samways was a man with a profound appreciation and empathy for animals. He was deeply saddened by the idea of a dog or cat suffering.
In honour of Frank’s dedication and generous legacy, the Home’s new Frank Samways Veterinary Clinic was named after him. This clinic has already treated thousands of sick and injured dogs and cats and will continue to do so for many years to come.
Thelma Hoult Training and Education Centre
Thelma Hoult was a passionate advocate for responsible pet ownership. She wanted her legacy to help the Home change community attitudes and behaviour towards dogs and cats. She believed strongly that education is key to improving the lives of animals.
Gifts in wills also help the Home plan for the future, not only for important capital works but to run vital programs such as our Behaviourial and Foster Care programs that help under-socialised, untrained, injured and mistreated dogs and cats find a life-long, loving new homes. We think that’s a very important legacy.
