Peace of mind; caring for your pet after you’re gone
It’s a question that plays on many pet owners’ minds: if something should happen to me, what will happen to my dog or cat? If this is something that sometimes crosses your mind, you might like to update your will to ensure your pet or pets will be cared for by The Lost Dogs’ Home.
The safety and well-being of your pet would be assured, whatever the future holds. Great care would be taken to find that special person to adopt them and provide them with the best possible home in which they can continue their lives.
Brody; a bequeathed pet
Brody was entrusted to the Home by her devoted owner Janet. Brody was very lonely when Janet sadly passed away and The Lost Dogs’ Home team worked tirelessly to find her a new family. Everyone was overjoyed when Sean and Bettina fell in love with Brody and decided to adopt her. Brody now has a loving home and a new best friend – a fellow Basset Hound named Harry.

Your Peace of Mind: Providing for the future care of your pet
I DIRECT my Trustees to place my pets (insert name /microchip number/ details of pet’s) in the care of The Lost Dogs’ Home Ltd, (ABN 84 004 789 726) of 2 Gracie Street, North Melbourne 3051 for the purpose of providing care for the benefit and well-being of my pets and to prepare them for adoption into a permanent home with a suitable family or person according to each pet’s individual needs.
“We have adopted two dogs recently and two in the past from the Home and we have had so much joy, love and affection from them that if anything was to happen to us we know that they will be looked after.
The Home does such a good job!”
