Last week, just shy of his one year anniversary at our Campaspe shelter, charming feline Dudley found his perfect companion and went on to find his forever home – after spending more than eight times longer than average stay of any cat at the shelter.
Arriving at our Home as a stray late last year, it didn’t take long for six year-old Dudley’s personality to shine through. A natural explorer with an inquisitive nature – our Echuca staff couldn’t believe that this adventurous gentleman was six years old!
While there is no time limit on how long a cat can be waiting to be adopted, the average length of stay for a feline is approximately 40 days. And after watching many of his shelter companions go on to find their perfect matches, it was time that Dudley found his own forever home – and he has done just that!
Stay tuned! We will give you an update on how Dudley is going in his new home over the coming weeks.
