During the year, teams from The Lost Dogs’ Home head out to a range of community and microchipping events throughout Victoria to promote better pet ownership.
The Lost Dogs’ Home and CanTeen are joining forces on National Bandanna Day on Friday 26 October 2018 – join us to raise awareness and support for two great causes!
National Bandanna Day is CanTeen’s major fundraising event of the year, and throughout the day volunteers will be selling bandanas and raising awareness for CanTeen at Federation Square.
As part of the activities, the Home’s wonderful Adopted & Adored Ambassadors will be onsite from 10am to 11:30am, conducting meet & greets with the public and promoting the Home’s adoption program.
CanTeen are a support organisation for young people aged 12-25 who have been impacted by cancer. They support young people with cancer, the children and siblings of cancer patients and children and siblings who have had a parent or sibling die from cancer.
So mark your calendars, grab your canine companion and come down and say hello to the teams from The Lost Dogs’ Home!
