During the year, teams from The Lost Dogs’ Home head out to a range of community and microchipping events throughout Victoria to promote better pet ownership.
Pet Squad is The Lost Dogs’ Home specialist behaviour team. They have long provided support and positive-reinforcement training for fearful and anxious dogs.
Join Pet Squad for our next event Dogs in the Park behaviour training series on Sunday, 15th March at Riverside Park, Kensington.
Come along to either 10am or 11:30am session and learn how to enhance your dog’s experience at parks and public spaces, keeping them happy and safe. This is a free community event, however bookings are required. Event page and booking https://www.facebook.com/events/491379518414321/
Pet Squad will take owners and dogs through a one-hour interactive session, where you will learn more on:
– Understanding your dog’s body language and behaviour
– Positive reinforcement training
– Recall at the park
– Play and enrichment ideas at home
Pet Squad behaviour trainers will be on hand to answer your specific questions. Attendees will also receive an exclusive discount voucher for a behaviour training consultation (initial consultation) at The Lost Dogs’ Home.
All dogs are welcome. Please ensure they are on-lead and remember to bring some of your dog’s favourite training treats!
Dogs in the Park is proudly presented by The City of Melbourne and The Lost Dogs’ Home.
So mark your calendars, grab your canine companion and come down and say hello to the teams from The Lost Dogs’ Home!
