During the year, teams from The Lost Dogs’ Home head out to a range of community and microchipping events throughout Victoria to promote better pet ownership.
The Dogs in the Park behaviour training series returns this summer in the City of Melbourne.
Join us for the first event at Clayton Reserve in North Melbourne, this Saturday, 7 December.
Come along to either 10am or 11:30am session and learn how to enhance your dog’s experience at parks and public spaces, keeping them happy and safe.
The Lost Dogs’ Home behaviour team will take owners and dogs through a one-hour interactive session, where you will learn more on:
– Understanding your dog’s body language and behaviour
– Positive reinforcement training
– Recall at the park
– Play and enrichment ideas at home
The Lost Dogs’ Home behaviour trainers will be on hand to answer your specific questions.
All dogs are welcome. Please ensure they are on-lead and remember to bring some of your dog’s favourite training treats!
This is a free community event and bookings are not required.
Attendees will also receive an exclusive discount voucher for behaviour training classes (initial consultation) at The Lost Dogs’ Home.
The Dogs in the Park event series will continue in early 2020 at Fawkner Park (South Yarra), Princes Park (Carlton), Riverside Park (Kensington) and Clayton Reserve (North Melbourne).
Dogs in the Park is proudly presented by the City of Melbourne and The Lost Dogs’ Home.
So mark your calendars, grab your canine companion and come down and say hello to the teams from The Lost Dogs’ Home!
