During the year, teams from The Lost Dogs’ Home head out to a range of community and microchipping events throughout Victoria to promote better pet ownership.
Join us for the fifth event in the Dogs in the Park series, to be staged on Saturday, 11 May at Buluk Park in the Docklands.
Come along to either 10am or 11:30am session and learn how to enhance your dog’s experience at an off-lead dog park. The Lost Dogs’ Home behaviour team will take both you and your dog through a one-hour interactive session, where you will learn more on:
• Understanding your dog’s body language and behaviour
• Play and enrichment ideas
• Positive reinforcement training
• Recall at the park
The Lost Dogs’ Home behaviour trainers will be on hand to answer your specific questions.
All dogs are welcome. Please ensure they are on-lead and remember to bring some of your dog’s favourite training treats!
This is a free event and bookings are not required.
Dogs in the Park is proudly presented by the City of Melbourne and The Lost Dogs’ Home.
So mark your calendars, grab your canine companion and come down and say hello to the teams from The Lost Dogs’ Home!
