Breaking news: Milo finds a new home!

Milo with the new family

We are thrilled to announce that Milo was adopted into a family this morning. Below is the original article outlining Milo’s plight:

Everyone loves chocolate, and this Curly Coated Retriever mix is looking for love. So far, Milo has been unlucky in finding a suitor to give him the life he deserves. What happened to the curls getting the girls? Milo has been patiently waiting at The Lost Dogs’ Home for a new owner to take him home, but we haven’t been able to find his perfect match. Could that be you?

Milo is a desexed, 10-month-old Curly Coated Retriever mix bursting with energy and affection. He is strong and loves being active so will need a family who can take him on twice daily walks and to obedience training. He knows how to sit and drop, but needs to learn some more canine manners including how to walk on the lead without pulling.

“This dog is not for everyone but if you want a faithful, active dog that loves exercise and obedience training then you should consider giving this great dog a home,” said Lost Dogs’ Home head veterinarian, Dr Larry Colson.

“These dogs love exercise and swimming, so access to lots of space, a dog park or a dog beach would be ideal,” said Dr Colson.

With the right owner, this handsome boy will become a very loyal companion for an owner willing to devote time and attention to him. He will make a wonderful addition to a family with older children.
