Adopted & Adored Ambassadors

Adopted & Adored Ambassador

The Lost Dogs’ Home Adopted & Adored Ambassador program is a fun and rewarding way to give back to the Home after adopting a dog or puppy.

Our passionate adopted & adored ambassadors, aren’t only wonderful advocates for better pet ownership, but also prove shelter animals make great pets.

Spending their time interacting with the community and donors during events and functions, our adopted & adored ambassadors are real life examples of how life is better when spent with a pet.

The Lost Dogs’ Home is always on the look-out for new adopted & adored ambassadors to join the program.

Throughout the year we call on our adopted & adored ambassadors to come along to events throughout Melbourne and Campaspe to show how shelter animals make great pets. Most shifts are one to three hours and commonly occur on weekends.

Depending on your availability we ask our ambassadors to commit to one event per month.

Glen & Stutz

Adopted & Adored Ambassador profile

Glen Klaassen and his Rottweiler cross Stutz are a true example of how pets enrich our lives.
Adopted & Adored Ambassadors since 2014 Glen and Stutz enjoy showing the people of Melbourne how close their bond is.

“I wanted to give back to the Home for all the work they do and, for me, the Adopted & Adored Ambassador program is a great way to do that.

“People are always surprised when I tell them that Stutz is from The Lost Dogs’ Home; it is great to hear their positive feedback about him and show them how shelter animals make great pets,” said Glen.
