It’s World Animal Day today and what a better way to celebrate the value of our furry friends by singing it loud and proud on the airwaves?

Kicking off tomorrow, the Pets-A-Loud program brought to you by The Lost Dogs’ Home will be on Joy 94.9!

Tune in each Friday from 12pm for one hour of pet power as the Home discusses all things from wet nose to wagging tails.

The program will feature specialist interviews, news and information on pet ownership and animal welfare issues.

Regular segments will include:

• Q & A with Senior Veterinarian Dr Alan Bolton
• News Wrap– the latest in pet and The Lost Dogs’ Home news and events
• Dog Dates – a preview of upcoming dog friendly events
• Pet of the week – feature cat or dog up for adoption
