Routine Health Consultations
Our experienced veterinary team is skilled in diagnosing pet health issues and prescribing the best care available. Routine health consultations are:
- Monday to Friday $55.00
- Saturday & Sunday $65.00
- Public Holidays $85.00
Vaccinations
It is important to maintain your pet’s vaccination program. In dogs, vaccinations are required for Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvovirus, Canine Cough and cats must be immunised against Feline Enteritis, Cat Flu and FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus).
Microchipping
Microchipping of dogs and cats is now compulsory in Victoria. It is recommended you have all of your pets microchipped, even horses. The Lost Dogs’ Home Veterinary Clinic performs microchipping for $40 seven days per week.
All animals microchipped through The Lost Dogs’ Home Veterinary Clinic are registered through the National Pet Register.

The Lost Dogs’ Home Veterinary Clinic Team performs a wide range of orthopaedic and soft tissue operations. The Lost Dogs’ Home Hospital features modern diagnostic facilities, state-of-the-art surgical equipment, pathology equipment and the latest anesthesia equipment.
Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a specialised treatment offered by The Lost Dogs’ Home Veterinary Clinic. It can be effective in a wide variety of cases, but is especially used to treat musculoskeletal problems like hip dysplasia and arthritis.
Dentistry
The Lost Dogs’ Home Veterinary Clinic offers the latest in pet dentistry, including ultrasonic scaling and high speed polishing. Dogs and cats need their teeth checked on an annual basis to prevent tooth decay and gum disease.
Hydrobathing
Bathing your dog can be difficult and messy, especially when your furry friend is unwilling! We offer 30 minute hydrobath treatments including shampoo and conditioning, flea treatment, drying and nail clipping.
Senior Animal Health Check
Pets aged seven years and over should be regularly checked for disease and health problems which commonly affect our older beloveds. If checked regularly, most health issues can be prevented.
Total Parasite Check Up
All types of parasites can be fatal if untreated, or if treated with the wrong medication. The Lost Dogs’ Home Veterinary Clinic Total Parasite Check up includes a general health check, flea check and treatment, heart-worm blood test and intestinal worm check.
Animal Behaviour Consultations
The Lost Dogs’ Home Veterinary Clinic has helped hundreds of owners improve their pet’s behaviour. We offer behavioural consults where the vet will discuss a range of behavioural solutions, drug therapy, training options and referral where appropriate.
