Update: Pebbles has been adopted!

Eight month old mini Pinscher mix Pebbles came to the Home after being hit by a car. She was rehomed earlier this week.

Mini Pinscher mix Pebbles came to the Home after being hit by a car on a major Melbourne road. Laying lifeless, the driver of the car did not stop however assistance came from a local resident who called our after hours Animal Ambulance.

Brought to the safety of the Home, Pebbles was unable to stand or walk. After a few days, Pebbles stood but could only walk in circles, clearly suffering from some neurological problems as a direct result of being hit by a car.

After intensive care and monitoring, Pebbles has fully recovered and was adopted by Lyn, who fell for Pebbles after seeing her story on dogshome.com.

"Meeting her confirmed that she would be a great addition to the family. She's sure to be spoiled," said Lyn.
