Thelma and Louise stick together

With their mischievous nature and pretty markings, staff at The Lost Dogs’ Home were surprised that kittens Thelma and Louise weren’t adopted sooner.

Their litter mates had all gone to new homes, yet it took the pair a few more days before they were adopted.

“My wife and I visited the Lost Dogs’ Home one Saturday to adopt a kitten…we came home with two!” said Rob.

Not wanting to leave one kitten alone and instead adopting both was an easy decision for Rob and Cathy.

“It made sense that they have the company of each other during the day while we’re at work, but it also means double the trouble.”

Thelma and Louise have made their new home their own and within a few days had sussed out the prime sleeping spot: on top of the ducted floor heating.

“Thelma and Louise live up to their names: they do what they want, when they want and have no regard for the law. We are teaching them that fingers aren’t toys, but they really are adorable!”

Cats and kittens from the Home are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and tested for Feline AIDs. View cats and kittens for adoption.
