The Lost Dogs’ Home Cranbourne Shelter closed Saturday 5th due to flooding

Last night’s heavy storms caused serious flooding at The Lost Dogs’ Home’s Cranbourne Shelter, also known as South Eastern Pound Services. The Shelter will be closed today, Saturday 5th February.

Fortunately, all dogs and cats escaped the flood waters as their enclosures are on higher ground. They are all completely dry, safe and were well sheltered from the heavy rain.

The office at Cranbourne however was not so fortunate and has suffered serious water damage due to flooding. Power has only been recently restored and for any further information call the Shelter’s main number on 03) 9702 8055.

Flood waters are receding and staff are working hard cleaning up and reinstalling computers so the Cranbourne Shelter will be open again at 10am Sunday, February 6th.
