We all love taking photographs of our much loved pooch and feline friends on our personal cameras and mobile phones, but getting that perfect pose is always a challenge. You can now stop the balancing act, because here is your chance to leave the tricky work in the hands of professional photographers!

Back by popular demand, The Lost Dogs’ Home Pet Portraits returns in late October.

This professional photo shoot with experienced pet photographers at Roka Pet Photography, will help you capture that special photo of your pets you’ve always wanted. An ideal Christmas present, you will have a range of products to choose from including Christmas cards, photo books and framed photos.

Also, just by participating in the Pet Portraits, you will be supporting the Home help the thousands of lost and abandoned dogs and cats with Roka Pet Photography kindly donating all booking fees to the Home. So don’t keep this a secret! Tell all your family and friends about The Lost Dogs’ Home Pet Portraits 2012!

This year, you will have the choice of ‘In Studio’ or ‘On Location’ photo shoots.

 In Studio sessions located at The Lost Dogs’ Home:

• 15-minute professional studio session.

• A modern and elegant backdrop

• Owners are welcome to bring along more than one pet for a group photo, as well as individual photos. Human family members are also welcome! However, if there are more than two individuals (including pets) for the shoot, two adjacent sessions will need to be booked to allow more time.

• Optional Christmas decorations and dress ups will be available, however owners are welcome to bring along their pet’s special outfits.

• You will have an opportunity to view and purchase photos on the day.

• Fees: A Booking Fee of $30 that will be donated to The Lost Dogs’ Home. Please note this fee is non-refundable. Prints start from $40 and Supersaver Packages start from $99. Complete price list available at roka.com.au/ldhprices

• A range of products are available for purchase including – Christmas cards, photo books, framed photos, foam mounted photos, canvases and smartphone and tablet hard covers.

• Please allow up to six weeks for delivery of your purchase.

Lenses will be focused for the In Studio sessions on Saturday, October 27 from 9am to 5pm at The Lost Dogs’ Home’s Thelma Hoult Training and Education Centre at 13 Gracie Street, North Melbourne.

 On Location session at your home, park or beach:

• Ideal for owners wanting to capture their pets in a natural setting and lighting.

• A longer duration of 45-minute to allow your dog or cat time to relax and allow their true personality to shine.

• A limit of three pets per photo shoot. Human family members welcome too.

• Prints start at $40 and supersaver packages start from $99. A choice of a range of products are available for purchase including – Christmas cards, photo books, framed photos, foam mounted photos, canvases and smartphone and tablet hard covers. • Fees: Booking Fee of $80 will be donated to The Lost Dogs’ Home. Please note this fee is non-refundable.

Please note

We ask that owners, pets and family members to arrive around 10-minutes before their booking. Please ensure your pet is on a lead or in a secure pet carrier. We will have water and doggy bags available. It is highly recommended that you give your dog some exercise prior to arriving so they can burn some energy and are more settled for the photo shoot and we ask all owners to supervise their pets properly and be courteous to all others.
