Overview of the Vet Clinic

The Lost Dogs’ Home Veterinary Clinic has been providing treatment and healthcare for shelter animals and privately-owned pets since 1935. The Clinic and its Hospital offer modern diagnostic facilities, state-of-the-art surgical equipment, dentistry, experienced staff and a host of programs to benefit the wellbeing of your pet. The Clinic is open to the public seven days a week.

Our in-house diagnostic equipment includes x-ray facilities, clinical pathology equipment and electrocardiography. We also have new anesthetic monitoring equipment, (including pulse oximetry), respiratory monitoring, dental and ultrasound equipment. If your pet requires an anesthetic, we offer pre-anesthetic blood screens to thoroughly assess your pet’s state of health prior to general anesthesia. All patients admitted for a surgical procedure receive painkillers to hasten recovery from surgery.

Our experienced Veterinary Team can help you achieve optimum care for your pet. See our range of programs and services.
By attending The Lost Dogs’ Home Veterinary Clinic, you are helping us care for lost, abandoned, stray and sick animals. The Lost Dogs’ Home is committed to being a voice for un-owned dogs and cats. We rescue and care for over 20,000 dogs and cats every year.
