We heard a rumour that one of our staff’s furry escapee may have been roaming the streets of Northcote on Friday night.
A team of 8 search volunteers (including his 5 year old niece) combed the neighbourhood, with heightened anxiety as the time ticked by.
The Lost Dogs’ Home team member was somewhat embarrassed when he got a call from his boss at 10:00pm. Turns out Matthew from the local cinema had taken the hairy Houdini under his wing and lavished him with a juicy bone. As he was tagged with the National Pet Register, Matthew simply called the number and was able to reunite a very embarrassed team member back with his loved pooch within the hour.
