Due to the success of our shiny new Lost Cats’ Home, the North Melbourne shelter is currently brimming over with beautiful felines all in search of a loving home.
Each has a unique look and personality, so we thought we would introduce a few of our lovely boys and girls in the hope that one (or more!) will capture your eye and kidnap your heart.
Misty
Age – 3 years

Beautiful Misty makes you want to sigh when you look at her. Her fluffy grey coat, her big amber eyes and her sweet personality are just so perfect, it makes it hard to believe this girl is yet to find a home. Misty absolutely adores the company of humans and would need a new owner who has plenty of time to keep her company. She loves keeping busy by playing with her toys and during foster care, it was noted that she is happy and relaxed around other animals. Misty will make someone extremely happy, so snap her up quickly before some other lucky person adopts her!
Boots

Looking at Boots, it’s hard not to start singing ‘da-na-na-na-na BAT-MAN!’ The positioning of this gorgeous boy’s dark markings has given Bootsy the comical appearance of a mask, although if he were a superhero, he would of course be Cat-man. However Boots’ amazing looks are completely at odds with his sweet and cuddly personality… Rather than kicking butt in dark alleyways, you’re more likely to find Boots curled up sweetly and purring his heart out. He is such a lovable and affectionate little boy; we know he would delight an owner every day!
Henry

Before you go making ginger jokes, you should know that Henry is one cat you don’t want to mess with. This boy is such a sweet and cuddly little guy but like most cats, he’s able to fix you such a disdainful stare that you’ll walk away with your tail between your legs! Henry’s name is very suitable given his graceful and dignified disposition, and his penchant for flirting with the ladies. Come in and meet him, and see if you fall for his charms!
Patch
Age – 3 years

With her big green eyes and gorgeous patterned coat, Patch is certainly one striking feline! She just luuuurves to laze around and receive pats, but also has a strong playful streak. Toys are her obsession and she could spend hours batting balls around between her paws or pouncing on toy mice! She doesn’t seem to mind other cats being around, but will defend herself (and her toy) when challenged. Above all, this girl is a complete sweetie who craves human companionship. Her friendly personality means she would be suitable to almost any home, as long as that home promises lots of cuddles and affection!
Cleo
Age – 1.5 years

Cleo the cuddle queen! While it was observed in foster care that Cleo loves to play and can be very active, mostly this sweet and happy girl just loves to be patted! Cleo would seek affection from a lump of wood, so it is so important that she finds a home where she will constantly be the centre of attention. She is beautiful with children and is always gentle when playing. This cutie pie is just waiting for someone to scoop her up and never let her go, so get in quick!
Indi
Age – 4 months

Lovely Indi is such a cute little fellow. His rich black fur will grab your eye immediately but it’s his sweet face and beautiful nature that will grab your heart. This little guy loves to cuddle and give nose kisses but will play happily for hours before conking out in a comfy spot. Black cats are notoriously less popular than other types, but we’re hoping that won’t be the case with our Indi. He truly is a sweet little man, so come in and say hello!
Lexi
Age – 1 years

Despite being stunningly beautiful, our Lexi is not some prissy little girl! This seven-month-old loves to play and can get quite creative when entertaining herself, so to make sure she doesn’t get up to too much mischief Lexi will need lots of toys to keep her busy. While she is only a small cat, Lexi is very confident and will let you know exactly what she wants and when... so you better obey her! Headstrong she may be, but this girl will keep you entertained for hours so if you’re looking to increase the laughs in your home, Lexi is your cat!
