“A most wonderful dog”, Nala, is looking for a new home

Nine year old Doberman mix Nala has some history with The Lost Dogs’ Home.

Adopted from us as a pup in 2001, her owners enjoyed many happy years with her, but six months ago, due to circumstances out of their control, they were forced to find her a new home.

Unfortunately for Nala, her new home didn’t work out: when her owner was evicted, he chose to abandon Nala at the house.

Nala’s original owners are devastated at what has happened. We are appealing for a new home for Nala, who is a most wonderful dog.” Says General Manager ,Sue Conroy.

She’s had a rough time recently and is looking for a loving home to enjoy her twilight years. Her age, combined with her size, means she may be susceptible to arthritis. Her new owner will need to be prepared for the possibility of paying for arthritis treatment in the future, however at this moment in time, the most important thing is that she goes to a forever home with a warm bed and coat.”

Due to neglect, the tips of Nala’s ears are ‘fly bitten’ and missing some hair. She’s receiving treatment and is responding well to it.

If you would like to welcome Nala into your life, please call the Lost Dogs’ Home on (03) 9329 2755 and quote Animal ID 240226.

Like all dogs and pups adopted from the Lost Dogs’ Home, she is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed, heartworm tested and comes with a free post-adoption training session with Planet K9.
