A man has been arrested over the attack on Buckley, which left the eight week old pup with horrific injuries.
The Lost Dogs’ Home staff has praised the swift action from Victoria Police and the overwhelming community support surrounding this shocking animal cruelty act.
We would also like to thank the public for their kind words and offers of rewards to help catch the person responsible for this.
The Home will be setting up a scholarship fund, to assist in Buckley’s ongoing care and recovery. An experienced animal behaviourist and trainer will be involved to ensure Buckley becomes a confident and happy dog.
