UPDATE: 29 August - Kenny was rehomed this morning.
It was anyone’s guess as to what breed of dog lay underneath the horribly matted and overgrown coat.
After being bathed and clipped, Kenny emerged as a much happier and sweeter smelling maltese mix. His mild skin irritation has been treated and should not present any ongoing problems.
“Kenny is just two years old and the state his coat was in suggests he has never been groomed or clipped,” says the Home’s Sue Conroy. “His new owner will need to ensure they keep his coat maintained. He is full of joy and loves a belly rub.”
