Dolly's been adopted!

Update: Dolly has now been adopted!

Lost and wandering the streets, gentle Shih Tzu mix Dolly was hit by a car and sustained some serious injuries. Rushed to the Home in need of intensive care and veterinary attention, Dolly has now recovered and is ready for a new home.

As a result of the accident, vets at the Home needed to remove six year old Dolly’s left eye and treat her head wound. She has also had dental treatment to clean her teeth.

When Dolly first arrived she was quite timid, however she has since blossomed. Her shy, gentle nature means she needs a quiet home without small children,” says the Home’s Sue Conroy.

Dolly is available to adopt from our North Melbourne shelter, and is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and health checked. Please call (03) 9329 2755 and quote tag number 842422 if you would like to adopt her.
