Lost Dogs - a photographic exhibition

Lost Dogs is a photographic documentary project exploring the plight of the dogs at The Lost Dogs' Home, the largest shelter in Australia, rescuing over 11,000 dogs each year. The series illustrates individual stories from among the large number of dogs that come into the shelter and focuses on the process that these dogs go through during their stay at The Lost Dogs' Home.

This week, residents from an Avondale Heights nursing home were treated to a demonstration of canine tricks thanks to The Lost Dogs' Home and Planet K9 Dog Training School.

Gold Coast Pet & Animal Expo

About 20% of the 20,000 dogs and cats that arrive at The Lost Dogs' Home do not have any form of identification. In most cases, one small microchip is all that is needed to reunite lost and distressed pets with their owners.
