Buckley's Friends in Need Fund
Buckley was only eight weeks old when his owner cut off his ears and tail with a pair of scissors or shears in what was a callous and deliberate attack.
It is beyond comprehension how anyone could be so cruel to an innocent animal, but The Lost Dogs’ Home is often called upon to care for severely neglected and cruelly treated cats and dogs like Buckley.
Their care often involves surgery, intensive and lengthy veterinary treatment and time recuperating in foster care. Not to mention lots of TLC and reassurance from the Home’s caring staff.
In tribute to Buckley, The Lost Dogs’ Home has established a special Buckley’s Friends in Need Fund for dogs and cats, who require specialist veterinary treatment and ongoing care from our staff. Often recuperation and rehabilitation can take weeks before a dog or cat may be ready to be adopted into a new home.
Buckley’s Friends in Need Fund will mean that we always have the extra funds needed to treat these most vulnerable animals giving them the opportunity to live a happy and healthy life.
Please help end the suffering of animals like Buckley by making a donation to Buckley’s Friends in Need Fund.
Your gift will help bring relief to thousands of neglected and cruelly treated animals each year, funding life-saving surgery, treatment and expert care during their rehabilitation. Money received will also be used to support foster carers and their vital work preparing these dogs and cats for rehoming with training, time and TLC.
