Buckley loves the beach
On 29 October, Herald Sun photographer Craig Borrow a great friend of The Lost Dogs' Home, accompanied Buckley on one such trip to the beach.

As Buckley was walked to the beach, this man saw him, stopped his truck in the street and asked if he could take a photo of him. In his words, "Buckley has been through a lot and has survived. He's a true hero...he's my hero."

We hope you will agree that Buckley is barely recognisable as the timid and understandably wary pup who was rescued on July 11. His missing ears and tail are reminders of that horrific attack, however his mental, emotional and physical wellbeing cannot be denied. Thank you so much for your support. You have been an integral part of Buckley's recovery, and indeed all neglected and abused dogs and cats who require our help.
If you would like to help animals in need like Buckley please donate now or give to the Buckley Friends in Need Fund.
