Byron is looking for a new home

Byron’s canine makeover wasn’t solely for cosmetic reasons: the two-year-old Shih Tzu mix had a terribly overgrown coat and teeth in need of a scale and clean.

Despite his condition, he sat quietly during his clip. I didn’t even need to tether him,” commented Jodie, who undertook the first stage of Byron’s makeover.

His perfect behaviour is a testament to his wonderful temperament.”

After his full body clip and bath, Byron was whisked off for desexing and dental work.

With his smart new haircut and brilliant doggy smile, Byron’s now looking for a new home.

Byron’s new owner will need to commit to regular brushing and clipping – every eight to 12 weeks,” says General Manager, Sue Conroy.

He’s a gentle soul and will fit in well in any home: whether you have children or another dog. He will do all he can to please you!”

Byron is desexed, microchipped, wormed and heartworm tested. Like all dogs and pups adopted from our North Melbourne shelter, he also receives one free post-adoption training session with Planet K9.

If you’d like to welcome Byron into your home, please call (03) 9329 2755 and quote Animal ID 867153.
